The 3800 UF is the machine you buy when a 1-2 ton digger is too small and a full-size excavator is too much. A 3.8 ton (8,377 lb) operating weight, a Kubota D1703-E4B 24.4 HP diesel, an enclosed cab with air conditioning, a factory hydraulic thumb and a side swing boom put real contractor capability in a footprint that still fits through a 67 inch gate. Dig to 131 inches (3.32 m), reach 219 inches at ground level and load a truck from 138 inches up, all day, in a climate-controlled seat.

Unbelievable value for a real commercial diesel machine

Took delivery of the 4 Ton Kubota Diesel Mini Excavator with Hydraulic Thumb and A/C Cab last month for clearing 14 acres of cedar and grading water drainage swales. Machine arrived in a fully enclosed steel transit frame with 0.0 operating hours. The diesel engine has tremendous torque and the hydraulic thumb makes picking up boulders and 12-inch logs effortless. Paid for itself on the first clearing project alone.

Smooth pilot joystick controls and powerful breakout force

I operated full-size Cat equipment for 20 years before retiring. For a compact machine, the hydraulics are dialed in smoothly without the jerky twitchiness you see on cheaper machines. Dug a 150-ft trench for 4-inch septic pipe through rocky clay in under 4 hours. Cabin AC blows ice cold.

The quick-hitch design makes swapping from the digging bucket to the grading bucket take less than two minutes. The hydraulic thumb is robust steel with solid pin engagement. Zero leaks after 45 hours of hard digging.

Free LTL freight to the contiguous 48 states, included in the price. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days and transit takes 6 - 9 business days. 30 days to return an unused, uncrated machine. Return freight is at the buyer's cost. Warranty claims are handled separately from returns - see the Refund Policy.

Do I need a licence or a special trailer?

No licence is required to own or operate the machine on private property. At this weight you need a 10,000 lb class tandem-axle equipment trailer and a 3/4-ton or larger tow vehicle.

How does delivery work?

Delivery is free to residential addresses. Orders ship from our Dallas, TX warehouse, and larger items arrive by freight with a liftgate drop at your curb or driveway. You get a tracking number by email as soon as the carrier picks up your order.
